Andrew Baker


Andy Baker co-founded Mobium Group in 2005, and released the first Living LOHAS in Australia report in 2007.

For the previous five years, he partnered with Melbourne-based strategic advisory group Trembrook Services to provide business analysis and corporate strategy advice to a range of listed, government and private entities.

During this period, Andy supported senior executive decision makers in responding to the business implications of emerging consumer, legislative and technology trends.

He led strategic planning reviews for teams responsible for budgets of up to $500m pa and developed particular expertise in building the business case for major technology investments.

Andy has a passion for the outdoors and in 2002 spent the year exploring some of Australia’s wildest places including several months in remote parts of the Cape York Peninsula, Gulf country and the Kimberley region.

Prior to this Andy was a Strategy Consultant at Accenture, where he provided financial analysis and corporate strategy advice to ASX100 Australian companies on issues including valuation, offshore relocation, customer relationship management (CRM) and process improvement.

Whilst at Accenture, he completed professional development studies in Europe and the United States.

At the University of Melbourne, he completed a double degree in Science (B.Sc, Ecology) and Commerce (B. Comm., Economics) along with studies in Spanish and Indonesian, including a Diploma of Modern Languages.

With his commercial experience and qualifications in Economics and Ecology, he is well versed in both commercial reality and the science of the natural environment.

Andy leads Mobium Group’s strategy consulting practice and is a regular contributor to a range of publications, seminars and conferences in Australia and internationally on topics related to consumers, business and sustainability.
